  • Barcelona Marathon – This is the Zurich Marató Barcelona, one of the most attractive courses in Europe for its flat and fast circuit. Not to mention the agreeable weather, that is one of Barcelona’s marks, and the amazing landmarks the runners will pass by during the race, like Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló. March 15, 2020

May 

  • EU-Startups Summit – will gather over 1,200 of Europe’s best startups, investors, innovative corporates and media people. We will have a top-notch networking app, interesting talks and fireside chats, a workshop stage, and an exciting pitch competition with the 15 most promising seed-stage startups from across Europe (selected from over 1,000 applications).   • Festa Major del Poblenou – Neighborhood festival culminating in Fireworks at the Bogatell beach. TBA 2020
  • Catalonia’s National Day: La Diada – The Diada, or national day of Catalonia, has been celebrated every September 11 since 1886 – and since 2012 has been marked by calls for independence. Sept 11, 2019
  • BAM Barcelona Acció Musical – Spanning more than twenty-five years, Barcelona Acció Musical (BAM) has become a festival renowned for discovering emerging talents from dance, electronica, rock and pop music from Catalonia and from across the globe.
    More than 40 groups fill different stages across the city each year with unique, new and original sounds, always coinciding with La Mercè, the city’s patron saint festival. Each year’s Mercè brings together an extensive program combining technology and tradition, music and performance arts, mobilizing the entire city. In this way, BAM is also structured as a musical celebration profoundly connected with Barcelona. It is one of the emblematic signs of a creative and innovative city. Sept 20-23, 2019
  • Barcelona Wine Festival – Barcelona’s biggest wine festival is part of the annual Barcelona Mercè festival. This is Barcelona’s biggest wine festival featuring local wine and cava from the Catalan wine regions and some typical regional foods. Sept 20-24, 2019
  • La Mercè 2019 Barcelona’s Cultural Festival – La Mercè transforms Barcelona into a grand stage bursting with fantasy and imagination. creativity is the driving force behind it, traditions its roots, and music an outstanding voice. over 600 activities and shows go on during the week with more than 2000 artists and professionals taking part.   • Festa Major de la Barceloneta – Every year there are auditions of sardanas, songs of Havaneras, correfoc with the devils and parade with the giants Pep Barceló and Maria la Néta. But the neighborhood’s main festival has a series of elements that differentiate it from the rest, such as the adorned streets and the parade of the canyon. The festival surrounds the Day of the Arch Angels (Saints Gabriel,  Michael, and Raphael – Sept 29th). The parish of Barceloneta is dedicated to Sant Miquel del Port. Sept 27 – Oct 6, 2019
